(toward Smoky Mountains). Follow Hwy 321 N. 8.3 miles, and turn right onto Old Highway 95 toward Greenback. Continue 3.5 miles and turn right onto National Campground Road (look for Lotterdale Cove sign). Continue 1.6 miles to the dead-end and turn left onto East Coast Tellico Parkway. Continue 6.2 miles and cross over Hwy 411 onto Hwy 72 E. Travel 9.1 miles on Hwy 72 E. and take a right onto 129 S. (toward Fontana). Continue on 129 S. 10.5 miles to “Tabcat Bridge,” which is the official start/end of the 11-mile “Tail of the Dragon.” From the Tabcat Bridge, it is 12.1 miles to the Dragon’s Den Grill and Pub where you may want to grab a bite to eat before returning to Loudon County. After slaying the dragon ….. Travel 12.1 miles back to Tabcat Bridge, then continue 10.5 miles on Hwy 129 N. Turn left onto Hwy 72 W. Proceed 9.1 miles on Hwy 72 W. and cross over Hwy 411 to East Coast Tellico Parkway. Continue 6.2 miles and turn left onto National Campground Road. Travel 1.6 miles on National Campground Road and turn left onto Old Hwy 95. Proceed for 3.5 miles and turn left onto Hwy 321S. Continue for approximately 6.8 miles to the intersection of Hwy 321 and Hwy 11. Turn left on Hwy 11 and proceed just a few blocks to Greene’s Classic Cars on the right. Greene’s is known for its selection of classic street rods and muscle cars. To return to I-75, go back to the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 321 (Dairy Queen on corner). Turn left onto Hwy 321 S. Travel approximately 2.5 miles to the I-75 ramps.
