East Tennessee puts on her finest in fall, and what better way to enjoy the colors than an autumn picnic at Lenoir City Park? Nothing allows us to slow down and enjoy the season like an old-fashioned family picnic.

 

First, stop by Sweetwater Valley Farm to pick up some homestead cheddar cheese and other homemade favorites to nibble on. Pack your own picnic lunch or call ahead and pick up a lunch to go from Buttercup Tea Room or at any of the restaurants along Hwy. 321 in Lenoir City.

 

Next, head to the park, enjoy your picnic and some quiet time feeding the ducks or watching your children play on the playground. Let your inner child show in an all-out game of tag or duck, duck, goose.
