Driving Directions

Take exit 81, Lenoir City, off I-75. Turn onto Hwy 321 N. (toward Smoky Mountains).

 

Follow Hwy 321 N. 2.5 miles to the intersection at Hwy 11.  Take a left onto Hwy 11.

 

Travel 2.7 miles to Muddy Creek Road and take a right. Proceed 1.5 miles to dead-end at Beals Chapel Road.

 

Turn left onto Beals Chapel Road and proceed under railroad trellis. Travel 0.9 mile to Northshore Drive.

 

Take left onto Northshore Drive. (This country road will take you past horse farms and equestrian training facilities.)

 

Travel 4.4 miles to The Cove Park entrance on right. Blue Ridge Outfitters is located in The Cove Park.

 

After a day of kayaking…..

 

Turn left on Northshore Drive and travel 4.4 miles to Beals Chapel Road.

 

Turn right onto Beals Chapel road and proceed 0.9 mile to Muddy Creek Road.

 

Turn right on Muddy Creek Road and travel 1.5 miles to Hwy 11.

 

Take left on Hwy 11 and proceed 2.7 miles to Hwy 321 N.

 

Turn left on Hwy 321 N. and travel 0.4 mile and turn right at the Lenoir City Park /Ft. Loudoun Dam Overlook entrance. At the Y split, veer left.

 

Travel 0.4 mile to the Fort Loudoun Dam Overlook on the right.

 

Proceed .01 mile to the scenic overlook on the right, then continue 0.5 mile to Calhoun’s Restaurant. During nice weather, the back deck is open for dining. Be sure to ask for bread scraps so you can enjoy feeding the ducks and large carp from the deck.
